Taco Tico is better

I can't think of the name of the place but its on Williams between Vintage and W Esplanade Taqueria something. I also think Casa Tequila is better, however none of theses places are excellent just better than Casa Garcia IMO.
FWIW I'm Hispanic

Here now. Chips and salsa and bean dip is good. Disappointed that they do not squeeze their own fruit for the margaritas...not even top shelf

Beef enchiladas were ok.

Glad I went to Tomasitos on Friday instead. Salsa is better here though.

Went last night, shredded beef chimicanga. Was pretty good. Bean dip was excellent as always.

Can anyone dispute this claim?

That sounds a little strong. I've only eaten there once a long time ago, though, and I remember it being pretty good. It's pretty far away from my neighborhood.

New Orleans still lacks a upscale offering of real mexican food

There was a place on St. Charles for a while that fit this description

Place was pretty solid. The market didn't seem to be there, unfortunately.

ETA: How anyone can argue Superior offers anything more than just acceptable food is beyond me. That place is very average in the sheme of things. I'll eat there occasionally in a pinch.
