The best mexican restaurant in southeast Louisiana.

Can anyone dispute this claim?

I LOVE the fajitas. I also love the free bean dip with the salsa.

Ate the pork fajitas there yesterday. Mmmmmmmmm. Yum!

If there are better fajitas in New Orleans, then let me know where.

probably best to stop on the way in or out of NO. From BR, get off at Williams. From NO downtown, get off at David Dr.

One of my favorites. They have an attention to detail and pride in their food. Their lunches are steals. Excellent tamales

went yesterday too, either I had a bad batch or they changed the salsa though, looked like too much tomato sauce in it

Love this place. Usually get the Mexican Sampler. Although everything else I've had there is good too.

My wife and her friends swear by the Margaritas.

It was very good though. Got the mexican sampler. Was trying to finish it but still had half of the tamale left.

It's my favorite. The bean dip is worth the trip alone.

I like it a lot but it is just refried beans with a couple of jalapenos slices. I think since it is free that elevates the level of enjoyment.

I like both of the locations (Metairie & Mandeville). There was also one for a short period of time in Hammond but it has since closed. Food is good at both locations. The owner's son has the Mandeville location.

The Metairie location can get jam packed for dinner. Whereas the it's rare to even see the Mandeville location half full.

They were in BR on Fla @ Airline from 1985 to around 1990. Great chicken and beef fajitas, bean dip, salsa, etc.. Great happy hour deals back-in-the-day. Been meaning to try the Vets location, always see it when making a Shogun run.

Just went there Saturday night. Shrimp fajitas were excellent. GF had a chimichanga that was also good. Plus the wait wasn't that bad b/c we just went ahead and had a margarita or two at the bar.
