Canes Copycat Chicken

I have a bunch of chicken tenders and my wife really likes Canes. Any ideas on how to cook the chicken? I already have a sauce recipe.

Make small tenderloins pretty bland and fry them? I like Canes, but the chicken isn't really anything to write home about. The service and cleanliness is what keeps me going back more than anything.
