The batter says add water/milk/etc.

Can I add chocolate milk instead?

Will that be good?

Since these are chocolate chip flapjacks, would the chocolate chips and the chocolate milk be too much chocolate?

You can do whatever you want. It might taste like crap but you can do it.

Only if you stay consistent and use Aunt Jemima syrup.

Yes you can. They will be fine. If uncertain, make one small bit of batter and cook one. I think it will be good.

You won’t get much chocolate flavor from the choc milk.

Try it and see if you like the result. It's not like you'll die of food poisoning. Worst case, it makes a batch of lousy pancakes.

Use club soda in place of water.

Yep. I've done it before in a pinch. They weren't horrible.

I can’t tell you what you will think is good or bad. Sometimes you have to do things on your own.

How some of you manage to make it through a 24 hour day without shitting your pants is amazing to me. Then again, some of you don’t

a lot of times I don't wear pants to avoid this issue. though the anti-nauseas tend to constipate me.

I know a lady whose secret ingredient to her french toast is egg nogg in the egg wash... if your chocolate milk is chocolate flavored milk then you may be ok. If its HFCS with dairy & chocolate added then you may have a siruation on your hands.

I don’t see why not. I don’t mix water for my pancakes, though. Just milk for the liquid.

My father, who was not comfortable in the kitchen, made pancakes occasionally, he would use cake mix for the batter. We thought they were great.

Griddle cakes, pancakes, hot cakes, flapjacks: why are there four names for grilled batter and only one word for love?
