Anyone catch this on Food Network? It follows a couple from New Roads that have two restaurants (Hot Tails in New Roads and Sac-A-lait in New Orleans). I was prepared to hate it, but damn, they make some good down home grub. Hope they do well. Cajun Aces

Ah I meant to watch that. A guy I've known forever works at sac-a-lait

Congrats to Sam and Cody. Been knowing Sam for years. Hope they continue the success.

I saw the first episode, but the DVR messed up the second.
They look like they know what they're doing. That crawfish and mirliton pot pie looked great.

I enjoyed both episodes, I have been craving the crawfish mac and cheese since I watched it! Looks like the next 2 episodes air at 6:00 pm this Saturday.

The food looked great, and the folks were very likeable.
I did get annoyed with the fake drama of needing to match last year's homecoming sales and similar junk that producers of reality shows insist on having, whether the topic is crabbing, gold mining, ice trucking, auctions, or flea market shopping. "If Bill doesn't find a big nugget by dark, he'll lose his claim and his daughter will starve!"
I guess the rest of America eats that drama up with a spoon, because every show follows the same formula.
I'll try to tune that stuff out and watch to see what food they cook up.

Hope the show doesn't portray them in a negative manner because they are both awesome people and run two very successful restaurants. They are always trying to create something new and trying to stay ahead of the curve. The food they create is awesome and i applaud their hard work and dedication!_
