Going for dinner tomorrow with family. Anyone ever been? Recommendations on any dishes?

It's on my "to do" list. My parents have been multiple times. They say the chargrilled oysters are excellent, though right now may not be the best time to get those. My mother says the crawfish bisque is also excellent if they're serving that. I can't recall what else they've had.
I sent some other folks there within the last month when they were driving through the area one night and they also loved whatever it was that they got.
Sorry I don't have more specifics, but what I've heard about it has been all good.

It's good. Oysters are good. Majority were ordering steaks and pasta dishes.

Catahoula's was one of my favorite restaurants, and it was in Sunset as well... is there any connection between the two?

Catahoula’s was in Grand Couteau

Ahh, that’s right. My mistake.

Wife and I went last weekend for the first time. Chargrilled oysters were amongst the best we’ve ever had, and surprisingly big for this time of the year. Seafood gumbo was excellent, too.
We split the fried seafood platter so we could try a bit of everything. Catfish was really good. The shrimp and seafood patty were very disappointing, especially the patty.
I should have listened to my father and ordered the ribeye cap. Only reason I didn’t was because I had just cooked steaks the night before. He told me it’s amongst the best steak he’s eaten.

There was an eggplant appetizer that was very tasty, but I don't see it on their menu right now. They serve little cheese biscuits that are delicious!
ETA: Also, I've only been for lunch, so I haven't had an opportunity to try their dinner menu, but I wouldn't hesitate.
