I feel like burgers are so subjective because different people like different styles.
Some people like the old cookout/diner style like Riverside or Dearman's make and would consider that "the best". Where as some people consider a more modern version, like a double smash with like caramelized onions/bacon jam/burger sauce/brioche bun, to be the best.

This is a valid point. I prefer burgers grilled over charcoal so most chain burger places are just okay imo. Waygulicious on Cloverland was exceptionally good for a fast casual burger.

If you are in the Goodwood/Airline area get a megaburger at Goodwood Grill.
