Got a heads up about this BBQ place in Central (Wax/Greenwell Springs) which took the place of Chris's Specialty Meats and the brisket plate and two sides didn't disappoint. Another couple remarked about the pulled pork nachos which will be on the hit list on the next visit.

I stopped by the other day. Nothing to write home about. Wayne's is still my go to.

Was at the Kite Festival in Port Allen, and just left Couyon's wife said she like it better than Wayne's.

I’ve had their bbq a couple times now. It’s good for sure. Not the best I’ve ever had, but I’ll continue to hit them up since it’s 5 minutes from my house

I’ve had it a few times, pulled pork sandwich with slaw.

Couyon's is the best bbq around BR. Wayne's is just more convenient for me.
