I know the bar was always going to be left in the hands of some nephews so the future is uncertain, but I assume it’s not dead yet

Best juke box from Napoleon to Jefferson.

ETA. Nothing fancier than drinking from red solo cups. Rip owner I never knew. You ran a great bar.

I’d love to get my hands on that lease. Printing money during Mardi Gras, and I prefer the atmosphere over ms maes.

That's the only I ever step foot in that place and it's been years..Were the prices pretty low? I think I remember being surprised.

They were low as shite. I was just there a few months ago and they hadn't changed. And if you get lucky on a night that Charlie is feeling squirrelly and it's slow- free shots.

Low ceilings and low prices...podnuh on Twitter brought up where are the other uptown cheap beer spots.

Besides the ‘Pin...Mae’s, Milan? How is Mayfair? Haven’t been since the smoking ban (And I actually don’t smoke, just haven’t been)

Sounds like you need to get out and crawl up Magazine Street more often.

I'll for sure be crawling this Saturday for Moonlight on Magazine. I'll actually look for this place (in case it opens again)
