ha i need a picture... i go to costco all the time and have yet to find the elusive plate ribs.

Same here... I asked the butcher once, and he did say they get them, usually close to the weekend, and they sell out pretty quick.

The ones I got yesterday were back ribs. They had a full case of them.

I'm clueless when it comes to different beef rib types, but always looking to learn. I think this picture is a pretty good summary as to where each rib type comes from.

Lafayette Costco has them pretty often.
