Personally I would skip GW Fins. I went a few weeks ago for the first time and it was just OK. Kind of dated and tired. Not very memorable.

Toss up between Clancy's and Brigtsens but if it were me I would go to Geautreaus. Man I had a fantastic meal a few months ago which would blow away Clancy's/Brigtsens. I know it all depends on the night....

I don’t know about the new chef or when they changed. All I know is that it was a fabulous meal with great service. I felt like I was in Paris.

I can't recall which week you're going to be in New Orleans, but Brigtsen's is serving the chef's version of crawfish bisque during Holy Week and it's very good. I wish I was going to be there this week to have it.
