Starters: gumbo/rabbit tenderloin/sweetbreads
Mains: Roasted Duck or the Paneed Rabbit if creole mustard is your thing.
Dessert: I can never stray from any of the creme brulee's

I tend to go with the Shell Beach Diet because I love all the things on the plate to taste. Last time I was there, I believe I had a fish special, but they told me I could order whatever I wanted off the Shell Beach Diet on the side. I love the cornbread whether it's shrimp or crawfish and any preparation of the baked oysters. The slaw for a salad is very good. These are not large portions but rather like sides.

I have a problem deciding between the pecan pie and whatever creme brulee is being offered for dessert. The pecan pie is one of the best I've had.

I also favor the bbq shrimp with the rice calas.

Next time, I think I'm sticking with an app or two and some of the Shell Beach Diet sides creating my own sort of tasting menu. It's just hard to decide!

I love their duck. Always a great seat on the skin, but still juicy inside.

I had :
Sweetbreads, rabbit, scallops, gumbo, butternut shrimp bisque, snapper and creme brûlée.

Everything was excellent. Bisque was extremely good, as was the snapper. Great service, of course.

The bisque is easily made at home if you have a craving.
