Why do you need reservations for a pizza place?

I like central. I don’t get the hate. Viva la waffle kind of sucked but this guy is absolutely crushing with pop’s poboys and central is good in its own right.

Central is “watered down” wood fired pizza. It’s like they are in a half arse position between “regular” pizza and “wood fired” pizza. It’s obviously going to be more approachable to someone who is used to eating “regular” pizza than B & C.

And t00f, B & C is comparable to like a Pizza Domenica style place (not a normal “pizza place”) that is in a space that has about 10 two person tables in it and a few bench style longer tables.

I know it might not sound like it from this post, but I do actually enjoy Central Pizza, it’s just not as good as B & C. It is the second best pizza in the city, IMO.

Viva La Waffle did not suck. They always had the longest line where ever the food trucks were, and the longest line by a long shot.

100% spot on as VLW's food was legit

Eh just didn’t love it as much as the other places he’s opened. Maybe just had a bad waffle or two

I prefer central over B&C

Same, B&C may have a better product but the neanderthal in me hates the small table, farm-to-table, hipster feel of B&C, it's not good enough to convince me to go there over Central. That's not a knock on B&C, that's me being weird.

I really like the wings at central. Both the regular buffalo and the funky ones

One of the things that draws me to B&C is that it feels like a restaurant that could be in New Orleans, or any "hip" city for that matter. There are only a handful of places like that in Lafayette.

Not weird at all. That is one of the main reason why I have no tried it.
