Just came from there considering how many raving reviews about it. Just wanted a picanha as the local butcher couldn't get the cut in this week.
Wasnt hungry enough for fogo, but I'm vastly underwhelmed.
I ordered a medium rare picanha and my s/o ordered a filet medium rare as well. Both came out alive and blue (they also sliced the picanha for you and couldn't tell it was undercooked?).
Asked for it to be refired and then it came back overcooked to medium well. The table behind me also had theirs sent back as well. At that point an hour and a half, we were just frustrated and ate it. Good sides to be fair.
Honestly can't believe I spent >100 on that when I could have gone to fogo for a better tasting steak. Hell that's how much I'd have spent at Doris. Has the quality gone down since before or something?

Fogo is terrible, I can’t tell if y’all are being serious by actually comparing Brasa to that

If we’re talking about the picanha specifically, I too was disappointed with it at Brasa. It’s hands down better at Fogo than Brasa.
Obv something like a bone in ribeye at Brasa would be better than a what you get at Fogo. Or at least it should be.

specifically picanha? Its VERY underwhelming in comparison and FOGO ain't some fine dining experience, more like a glutton in a building.
I went based off a recommendation from a family member of the owner. I left underwhelmed considering so many people on here and on other review pages spoke so highly of it.
