Whoever suggested these:

They will become a standard order for me now.

Had some good raw oysters as well. Their presentation is horrid, but at $6.00/dozen I won't complain much.

Duck and Sausage Gumbo was good, but I will go back to the Seafood for next time. Should have had the Shrimp Cream Bisque.

I just find them too mushy on the inside. Overpriced too when you consider the fact that a boudin ball typically costs 50 cents each at most boudin places.

The andouille oyster poboy at Chimes though may be one of my favorite poboys though.

I've never had them so I wouldn't know any better. I tend to like mushy though.

I nearly got this. May have to go there twice this weekend.

I had them at Chimes East recently and they were different than the old ones. I like them better now I think. They need a boudin ball poboy on the menu.

Just stop by Ronnies too then.

Nobody has a better boudin ball IMO. I havent found one I like more in the entire state yet. I have tried all the top contenders such as Billy's etc. There is just a nice crunch and rice/meat ratio at ronnies that is very good.

And priced right at 3 for $1.59 for boudin balls larger than most competitors.

I had that last time I went, and enjoyed it. But thinking back on it, I probably wouldn't order it again.

My problem with that poboy is that its just expensive for a poboy. I dont need the whole thing either. Would be a good item to offer a half poboy ate least. If I recall it was like 15-16 for that poboy.

Beau Soleil has some pretty tasty boudin balls, but they are definitely not going to win on being a bargain.

Exactly what kind of texture are you expecting from boudin?

You should be able to disguish that its made with rice with meaty chunks. I dont care for boudin that is pulverized. There should be many textures in boudin not just all mushed together.

Its should have texture somewhat like this:

Man that looks good. Just one more item to add to my list of things you can't get in Atlanta (or can't get without an hour drive).

Beignets
Cafe' Au Lait
Boudin
Crawfish
Raw Oysters (at a decent price)
