I’m boiling a sack Saturday and I want to do some shrimp as well. What are the best steps to take for them to be cooked properly?

When you cut the fire for your crawfish drop your shrimp in. If you dont want them all mixed up with the crawfish go to the dollar store get some lingerie bags to put them in. They by the washing power.

Boil them separately, shrimp are so quick it won’t matter
Cook your crawfish, dump them out add plenty more seasoning bring water back to a boil, cut heat and add shrimp, they will float in a minute or two then sink a few minutes later, pull them when most have sunk

I do it all the time. Just add the shrimp when you cut the fire off for your crawfish. Let them soak and dump with everything else.
