Did a search and could not find this.
Has anyone in the Baton Rouge area been able to locate the new BlueBell Camo? It looks delicious but don't feel like driving all around town just to come home with nothing.

I saw the Two Step in Florida last weekend and got it but then we got wasted and forgot all about it and never ate it. It is still in the freezer at the condo. If that is anywhere in BR I would go for that, as well.

It's pretty much everywhere. Anywhere that carries BB should have gotten some. I would focus on places that may not get as much traffic.
FWIW, wife bought some. Said it was good (that means its just okay.) I haven't tried it.

Certainly wasn't at the Albertson's on Burbank/Bluebonnet. Not sold out either as the shelves were completely stocked.

I think I saw it at Robert Fresh Market on Highland near Kenilworth.

Both stores in Saint Francisville have it. I don't get out much.

Found Camo in Calandros. It is OK but the flavors don't really blend together well IMO. It just tastes like 3 different ice creams.
I want to find the Two Step now so I will be on the lookout for that next.

quote:but the chocolate overpowers everything. it's a really stupid flavor idea. those 3 have nothing to do with each other. they just moderately resemble the look of camouflage, if camouflage had an electric green.

you could make an argument that neapolitan is the same way--it's just 3 basic flavors that have nothing to do with each other. NO. they discretely separate neaopolitan into 3 obvious sections. you can eat them separately, or you can mix them. your choice. but the camo is blended together. this implies the flavors compliment each other, but they don't. ultimately, they just wanted to market a redneck ice cream to their adoring louisiana market, so they took 3 unrelated flavors and mashed them together and put a camo pattern on the cartoon.
meanwhile, two step is an unpretentious combination of classic flavors that actually make sense together--cookies and cookie dough.
long live two step.
two step>>>>>>>camo

Wasn't there last night. Not that it matters. At 8pm the lines to check out were 10 people deep. They had 2 lanes open and self-check out. That is the 3rd time I walked out of that Walmart without buying something because of the lines (I didn't find the icecream but I had picked up something else I needed). Never going back.

I'm being serious that I thought the two step sucked. It was way too much cookie and not enough ice cream. I really liked the camo. The chocolate didn't over power it. The pistachio flavor was more prevalent.

Saw some dude in Winn Dixie on Coursey buying some.
