i find that when they focus on the normal bbq stuff (brisket, beef ribs, sausage, etc) they can execute those really well. delicious, even.

but when they venture off into their asian bbq flavors, it can get a little muddled. i didn't find their thai green curry boudin to be all that great, same for their peanut butter thai ribs.

their mac 'n sleeze sausage is interesting. (mac n cheese pork sausage)

but i get it, it's what makes them different and diverse.

i would put them on the 2nd tier of hou bbq. truth/killen's/feges at the top imo

Bad name. Most people don’t want to think of blood/blood brothers when thinking of bbq.

Rats Burgers
Roach’s Bar and Grill

Damn, you gonna make me venture out of the Heights this weekend. Was planning on getting my Saturday beef rib at Truth but will try something different.

i havent had much of their asian focused stuff outside of the brisket fried rice, which i thought was delicious

i like their sausage was good but the brisket has been a little lean for my taste, even after asking for fatty both times ive been. i like brisket house more for spots in west houston

Stopped by and it was good. Creamed corn was really good. Potato salad was just okay, but was a good combo bite after a bite of the corn. Got the chopped brisket sandwich and brisket was really good. Only two types of bbq sauce and I didn’t really like either, but I mixed them and it was better than each alone.

Overall, good bbq, sides and service. Likely to visit again.

Ate here last Friday. Met the lady who makes the banana pudding for the joint and the two brothers.

I thought the sides were ok. (Mac and cheese, watermelon and feta, creamed corn, brisket fried rice) nothing really life changing.. the corn was probably my favorite.

However, the meats were fantastic!
We got ; Turkey, homemade sausage, brisket, Asian spiced burnt ends, smoked ribs, and thai peanutbutter ribs.

The Asian influences worked really well. It had a little more heat than I like, but was still moist and flavorful.

Two thumbs up on this place!

Oh, and the banana pudding was fine.. it was just 75% cool whip, so it tasted light.

it's getting national pub bc of this, and it's warranted

they are constantly adding and experimenting with new ideas, which makes it refreshing

good to see them do well
