Wow, my corporate office is Broussard and I typically stay at the Hampton on S College when I go over and it is very close to that. Thanks.

I’ve been 3 times now and enjoyed everything I’ve have. Some of the sauces aren’t my cup of tea, but they are still good. Decent beer selection in an ice trough. I love dem pull pork nachos

I actually really like the mustard and espresso sauce. The root beer isn't my fav but is still decent. I don't think the sauces are the standout item but they are getting a bad rap I think

Root beer was the one that I remember not liking at all, and I love root beer.

It appears we are all over the place on our opinions of their sauces.

I'm not a big sauce guy. When we get BBQ from Dwight's, I tell them to hold the sauce on mine. I'm not big on dipping meats in sauces, i.e. don't dip chicken wings in any extra sauce like ranch. I don't make a dip for crawfish anymore either. But I find the creole mustard sauce at Blanchard's just too good to pass up. I use it on the pulled pork and sometimes on the brisket. And those meats that they do are plenty flavorful on their own -- as you know.

But dat sauce doe...

My buddy really likes that one too, I’ve tried it and it just doesn’t do it for me. I use the hot sauce on the fries, but it’s just alright to me.

No tacos just for specials

I do like their mustard sauce. Other sauces aren’t good. Their food is fire tho

Can confirm this place is legit, just had lunch here

I liked the creole mustard sauce. I tried the ancho auce and it was OK. Wish they had a regular hot/sweet bbq sauce.

Had lunch there for the first time last Saturday. Got the pulled pork, brisket, mac and cheese, green chili corn casserole, and slaw. It was all awesome, but the brisket was crazy stupid good. I'll definitely be back.
