I went last Friday.

I enjoyed the brisket, it was a bit over cooked but not dry. The beans and mac and cheese were both good. I didn’t like the sauces, but the brisket was good without sauce.

Don’t know his name other than Blanchard. His dad was the pastor at the Methodist church by comeaux on martial.

Matt Blanchard. Good people. I could eat there every day.

Brisket or pork salad with jalapeno vinaigrette dressing add slaw, and drizzle a little creole mustard sauce on top. Lawd have mercy.

Ate there today because of this thread.

Got the two meat plate: brisket and pulled pork.

Brisket was fork tender and juicy. Very good on its own, but I actually liked the creole mustard BBQ sauce as a condiment. Didn't try the other sauces.

Pulled pork was very moist, tender, and tasty.

Chipotle slaw was only okay. They need a regular slaw option.

Beans were great.

Lots of other menu options too.

Friendly staff.

Will definitely be going back.

Only open 10:30 - 2:30 pm Tues - Sat though.

I used to eat their brisket salad from the truck and it was good. Their grilled cheese with brisket is also delicious. The bacon jam is incredible.

Went yesterday with the wife. Both of us got the 2- meat plate with ribs and brisket. We got the smoked potato salad, green chilie corn casserole, chipotle slaw, and hand cut fries for sides.

The ribs were great. Brisket was good, but I thought a little fatty for my taste. Sides were good, especially the hand cut fries. We probably could’ve got the 3-meat plate and been full. Their sandwiches look amazing.

Will definitely return. We got their around 11:30, and the place quickly got packed by noon. Hope this place stays for the long haul.

ETA: They might want to reconsider the booths along the wall. I think all the booths were occupied by 2 people, and there were many people eyeing for a seat. Should probably replace them with 2 and 4-tops.
