I know I'm in the minority but I recently tried boudin and boudin balls from Billy's and from Don's. Although slightly different spice levels, I found that both had some fat or gristle in them.

My fav is still a local place in BR that I won't derail the thread on, but I don't recall having fat or gristle in it ever.

Obviously, most people don't mind it and must like it. Just me I guess.

I would like to try the Best Stop in Scott.

About to open on Johnston St. in Lafayette, right next to Stan's Automotive, across street from Sticks Billiards. They are going to do breakfast sandwiches, burgers and fries at lunch, along w/ the boudin, cracklins, meats, and of course the jalapeno sausage bread.
