Has anyone had this before? Tried it the other week while I was in Birmingham.

It was a combination of Smoky, Spicy, Sweet, and Salty. Perfect on a biscuit. I hear they use tobasco for the spice.

Anyone have a good recipe close to it? Been experimenting, not working out that well.

It’s pretty damn good. I’ve eaten it in Birmingham and it’s a staple when we go to Rosemary Beach.

But, we opt for Grillehouse when we are eating breakfast in Oxford.

And, yes, they’re bacon is legit.

I live down the street from one of the locations, and honestly I think it's kinda overrated. The bacon is good, but everything else I've had hasn't really impressed me. Especially when it's ~$30-$40 for the me and the wife.

That said, I'm not a huge fan of eating out for breakfast. I'm pretty content with Waffle House.

I've only been to the Oxford and Charleston locations, and it's good, but expensive.

Unless you get some specialty (think shrimp and grits, lobster omelette) Breakfast should be no more than $10 a plate imo.

The BBB is exactly $10.

2 eggs. 2 Meats. Toast/Biscuit. Side (hashbrown, grits)

Coffee - $2.95
Tax - $1.42
Tip - $3.00

$17.37...for a basic breakfast. What's an All Star Special? $6.55 plus tax?

Well, I asked my friend. He didnt give exact measurements (I didnt ask and would feel bad doing so). But he said this.

It’s cured in Tabasco mash from Avery island, brown sugar and salt.
