re: Best Tap List in BR?

I do want to make my way over there, but if I only have time to hit up one place I'd prefer to go somewhere that I could get my hands on more than just one brewery's offerings.
But Tin Roof is on my list and if I can sneak away for a bit I'll definitely hit that up as well.
Really glad they've turned things around - it was awful last time I lived in BR.

CBD is the best, if you are just looking for beer. Atmosphere is very bland.
Half the taprooms in Portland are bland AF. Killer tap lists that are 100% rotating make up for it. Usually, they are quiet and don't play loud music (except for Apex Bar), which makes them a good place to have a conversation. But atmosphere? Concrete floors with some tables and a bar is normal.

Not the draft list. I can look up what expired bottles and cans they have though.
Damn. Look who's not happy, today...
I ALWAYS look at the taplists before going. Mainly because I'm an equidistance away from several spots, so I go where the beer is most interesting.

CBD is nice to go and just relax and talk to the guys working behind the bar. The location sucks for me so I don't make it that way much anymore but I enjoy it when I do.
Now you can bring in small pets, they have a patio with TV's, and they have regular rotation of people cooking food (plus you can have food delivered no problem)
I think I saw they added a small wine/whiskey selection for the people who don't drink beer

That's what I do. Did you ever go to Tin Bucket? Same thing. No real atmosphere, unless you thing beer signs on the wall count as atmosphere. Ditto Bailey's taproom, Imperial Taproom, Growler Guys, etc...
Didn't you say you were coming back to Portland?

Yeah, I'm thinking about heading up... the GF wants to go and see the mountains in person and see some of the other stuff I did. So it wouldn't be a beer trip like last time and more sight seeing

Tin Bucket has a much better tap list and bottle selection than Bridgetown, usually.
You need to hit up Culmination, Ex Novo, Wayfinder. Wayfinder has a cool atmosphere and great food, so the SO will enjoy that. Also, Modern Times is 2 blocks from the Cascade Barrel house.
Great Notion will have a new place opening on the west side near the Breakside Slabtown.
Speaking of Breakside, they came down to Denver and did a collab with Comrade Brewing a couple of weeks ago. The beer is a NEIPA and is going to be released next week. I'll try it and post it on FBD.

You know what beers Great Notion is sending Courtyard for their Hop Festival, I see he has them listed

Olive or Twist is the 1B to my 1A so this isn't a knock on them, but you're going to have a really hard time with this unless you're going during an off hour.
