Best steak in H-town

I was going to try Killeen’s, but should I try somewhere else?

I haven't tried Killen's Steakhouse, but I really enjoyed my meals at Pappas Bros Steak and B&B Butchers. The best steak I had in Houston was at One Fifth Steak, but that's now repurposed as a different One Fifth.

B&B Butchers is hard to beat these days, especially considering their selection of sides. For something a bit different, Roka Akor has an amazing selection of highly-prized Japanese Wagyu along with the freshest sushi this side of the Pacific. Chris Shepherd is in the process of transforming underbelly into One Fifth Steak...to be called Georgia James. Baller Boards for everyone!

I'm a big pusher of Killen's. I don't think I've ever had a better Ribeye in my life.
I wouldn't put Taste of Texas in the same category as Killen's, Pappa Bros, and Vic and Anthony's. To me it's just not as good and I don't like the atmosphere.

Ive tried to hit them all.... agree w One Fifth, I hit it pretty often when it was goin... their tomahawk was awesome. To what u can get now?
B&B would be top for me. Vics and Pappas are very good. Killiens would be behind them for me. I liked it, but more of a eat at the bar kinda place for me. Dont sleep on Perrys, but if ur in town on a friday - hit it for the pork chop at lunch.
