Craving steak for dinner. Hubby really likes Ruth's Chris but I'd like to try something different in Baton Rouge. Any suggestions??

A lot of people on here seem to like Ruffino's or Doe's Eat Place for their steaks.

sullivans is a crappier version of ruths. pretty much the same price/menu

doe's is not on any of these other places levels. the steaks are gigantic and arent that great of quality. most steaks are a minimum 2lbs and the steaks are $22 per pound. so $44 for a steak.

ive never been to little village but they are apparently good when it comes to steaks.

Martinis ruffinos suggestion is a good one. They serve a good strip as well. The Italian food is marginal.

I think Ruth's has the best steak. Service is great too. The atmosphere is lacking, but if we are talking steak only, Ruth's is tops IMO.

I know you want something different, but Ruth's is the best IMO.

I know this is all opinion but Ruffino's 45 day dry aged is the best steak I've ever had anywhere. It's really that good.

Yes, all opinion/purely subjective. I've heard really good things about this steak, but have yet to try it.
