I just replaced my 20+ year old Oklahoma Joe's Longhorn smoker with this. Smokes the meat just as well, uses way less wood. So far, I'm loving it.

I just bought the Highlander at the price point you are looking at and love it. I like the offset fire box for smoking and the room for grilling can't be beat.
