pictures. good idear.

No. 1 for me is probably the Spicy Rizzak at Tiny's Giant Sandwich in NYC. Simple but fricking delicious.

Sliced Turkey, crispy bacon, melted cheddar, tomato, onion, spicy chipotle mayo on a toasted sesame semolina hero

Their open-faced tuna melt is great as well.

Turkey Pastrami from Old Tyme Grocery is about a good as it gets, for me at least,

Healthier choice that is damn good is the Zucchini Grillini from Jason's Deli. Grilled zucchini, melted cheese, dressed, on a perfectly toasted whole wheat bread for that perfect crunch.

I'll have to go more often, since they apparently agree with me:

R2R, you ever eat at the Ike's sandwich place in San Fran? I've seen it featured a few times on the Food network.

Off the top of my head:

The rueben at kellys in neptune city, nj.

Roast pork, sharp provolone and broccoli rob from dinics in philly.

Turkey, bacon and melted provolone from riddle and martin in east brunswick, nj.

Buckboard bacon melt from cochon butcher in new orleans.

And my favorite sandwich in baton rouge is the calamari and melted parmesan po boy from chelseas.

Old Tyme Special from Old Tyme Grocery in Lafayette

(not the OTS, but close enough to get the idea)

California Connection from Central Market in Houston

Substitute the turkey for chicken and add bacon... Almost unbeatable

Can there be a change to the title of this thread warning people to open at your own risk if hungry?

Nah never been there. Just looked at their menu online. They have a TON of sandwiches. Just spoke with my buddy from SF and he says Ike's is legit. If you're out there I think Roxie's in Mission Terrace has the best sandwiches in the Bay Area.

That's what I was wondering, whether it was quality stuff or just large portions.
