Biergarten... I really wanted to like this place. Once I realized I was paying for what tasted like bologna I was done. The desert and entertainment were pretty good but there are much better meals in Disney.

Biergarten is not bad at all but people dont read the menu to see what they are eating. Disney tries to keep everything as authentic as possible but there are some Americanized items on the menu. If I just want to wing Epcot and not dine in, all countries have quick service sections that have some really good food. An example would be Germany where you might not like the menu items but you might like the brats and sauerkraut in the quick service area (which is really good). By the time you hit the end you are stuffed and Illuminations is about to start.

Update:
Although it's over a month away before we go to DW, some of the restaurants recommended to me in this thread are already booked full for the days and times we wanted to eat at them.

I'm going to follow the advice offered and check with those restaurants on the days we're there to see if a reservation got cancelled that we can have.

In the meantime we made reservations at the Canadian steakhouse in Epcot, the Crystal Palace (for a character breakfast) in the Magic Kingdom, the Biergarten in Epcot and the Sci Fi Cafe in the MGM/Hollywood studios.

Thanks to everyone for the ideas!

If you have kids they will love the Sci-Fi because it's themed like an outdoor drive in theater. The only suggestion I can give you for the Sci-Fi for food is to stick with the burgers and stuff which are excellent. The steak is not worth the price although it's tempting.

Also, keep my idea in mind about eating at all of the quick service areas in Epcot if you spend additional days there. Le Cellier will be very good and if you time it right you can experience it along with the quick service and still be hungry for Le Cellier. If you have any questions about the planning and park days let me know and I can help you research that too to maximize your time. Since you already have reservations I can also give you an idea about how packed or light your park days will be.

Last summer they had a different menu at the sic fi at night which didn't include burgers so I would eat lunch there

I'm not exactly sure how someone becomes too old for Disney and even more specifically theme parks. The only part of Disney World that would be considered geared toward kids would be Fantasyland. Other than that the entire park system would not be considered age specific.

I've never seen their menu changed but if it does he should call and ask for sure. I wouldn't eat there if they didn't have their burgers on the menu.

My parents have gone with out the kids or grandkids. They had s blast. My mom said they got to really enjoy Epcot and all the stuff that they couldn't do when we were smaller. Some people just really live Disney. :)

You still haven't said why it's creepy other than you think it is. Eating good food, playing golf, driving race cars, riding roller coasters, etc. is not creepy at all. I'm not sure what you think adults are doing in the parks but you must have some strange ideas if you think what I posted is creepy.

You made the comment and are wrong but I can't force you to explain. Nothing creepy about it.

That's awesome. A guy with four grown men touching each other in his sig is calling others creepy.

I've been to Germany and Norway, and am planning on trying Cape May Cafe this time around.

The last group I went with insisted on eating at McDonald's for lunch. It was the first time I'd walked into one of those in at least 20 years.

Don't mind Lester's patented jusgemental message board rant. We all weren't exposed to his level of class an sophistication that one becomes accustomed to while gracing the hollowed halls of UNO.

It's unbelievable that he shows up in a thread where everyone is offering very helpful ideas and suggestions and all he does is make critical, bitter remarks about other posters and/or their parents without contributing anything of substance to the thread. He must be a miserable human being.

What you posted in this thread is definitely NOT creepy. Your suggestions are greatly appreciated by me.
