We're evacuated to NO from Panama City, currently in a hotel in Gretna. We have a 5 and 7 year old who have been cooped up in a hotel for almost a week and anxious about the state of our house (we are/were living on Tyndall AFB, no specific news about it but aerial pics show a roof 75% intact at least).
We wanted to go tailgate the game but also want to stay rested in case they give the green light to go back to our house to salvage our stuff.
Hoping to find a sports bar or restaurant with a playground. Wishful thinking, but if anyone has ideas, we'd appreciate it!

Urban South will be good.
If you want to stay in Gretna check out rivershack tavern, they have a rooftop and can play on the levee
.
Only thing I can think of is the backyard in Lakeview

Backyard is our second option

Yep, good choice for us. Our kids are having fun, we are a smidge too old and not hipster enough for this crowd, but oh well, good enough for a game. I was getting tired of these midgets of mine tearing up the hotel room
