I love me a good slice of pie; the problem is, a good slice of pie isn't easy to come by. Here are some of the places that come to mind:

Lea's Lunchroom -- Lecompte
Mammy's Cupboard -- Natchez, MS
Crystal Grill -- Greenwood, MS

What else ya got?

Oh my god, we agree on something. Frightening.
I still stop at Lea's for the nostalgia, but they're definitely not as good as they used to be.

absolutely. I've never been a big fan of Lea's going back to when I first enrolled in LSU and people told me I HAD to stop by there on my drive to and from Shreveport. their "famous ham sandwich" is a joke.

I had a booth at an antique mall a few years ago. Did Roundtop once. The acres of antiques was overwhelming in its enormity! Stopped at Royer's for pies. Good times.

Lady i work with brought a sweet potato and a pecan from Story's in Watson.

Might be the best bite of sweet potato pie i've ever had.

Back home (outside Ann Arbor, MI), one of the local grocery stores actually makes some pretty darn good pies. They were kinda limited right now, but generally, the variety (apple, cherry, berry, etc.) is incredible.

I don't think they sell by slices, but either way, some good shite
