Like I said earlier, I prefer De Angelo's. That isn't fast food pizza.

I have nothing against De Angelo's. At least they try. They were much better in the late 90s/early 00s, before they began to pop up everywhere. Their product is not as good, now. It is still better than most places in our area, though.

Rotollo's was very disappointing when I had it for the first time, two weeks ago. The crust was very bland and soft. I noticed their cheap-arse conveyer belt on top of a table top, so I guess I should not have expected much.

?? They totally revamped. They have a 2 ft pizza NYC style cooked in a real oven. Have you had the two-footer?

Huh? I last went to the one on Coursey about a month ago...and the one in Denham about 3 weeks ago. I did not see that on the menu.

What is the difference between this place and all of his other restaurants?

The pizza is better. They do not have the two footer at the other places. It is really all about the pizza.

Next to the Winn Dixie at Lee and Burbank. The place is always empty. Shame.

I just want to clarify. Do you believe it is better because that location has a 2 ft pizza or because it tastes better? (Note: This is a serious question.)

I believe that the 2 foot tastes better--great thin crust in the middle that thickens at the edges. They have a 12 inch that tastes like shite. You need to try the two foot. Trust me.

The only time I've been they burnt the crap out of the pizza. never care to go back.

For me:
Johnny's
Bobes up in indiana/illionois
California pizza kitchen

I usually settle for papa johns when I'm in baton rouge. I would try out Fleur-de-lis but their policy irks me.

I know that everyone has their take on what makes a great pizza, and maybe it's me being brought up in Capital Hts as a kid, but I still love me some Fleur De Lis pizza. I'm not a big tomato sauce fan, and I don't need the entire kitchen full of topings dominating my pizza either. I think it's just one of those things that are up to the individual to decide.

That being said, I can tell you the absolute pit for me, and that's Dominos, Pizza Hut, and Pappa Johns.

Other than that, I can appreciate Pappa Murphys as well, maybe because I like cooking it at home and getting my hands on it when it is right out the oven.

Cant believe no one has mentioned PieWorks.
They just opened up on Sherwood a couple of months ago. Its like a modern D'Angelos only the food is way better.
