Had some yesterday at Cafe Mimi downtown. Very good, and they brought sprouts, lime and jalapeño out for you to add.

yeah ive had theirs twice and both times it was good. not going to beet dangs or saigon but for a downtown restaurant and for a quick lunch it checks all the boxes.

Spring rolls, pho, and banh mi travel pretty well, and the food was at my house in 30 minutes, all hot and fresh tasting. No doubt it would have been the exact same had I sat down at Dangs to eat.

I feel the same way.
The little saigon people tend to go away around the holidays, i tried to go there on Wednesday and there was a sign on the door, i ended up at dangs.
I personally am not a fan of saigon noodles pho. Maybe i need to give it another shot.
