The sun sets directly on my back porch, so I need one that can withstand the brutal temps that an LA summer brings. Suggestions?

Build a bar and tuck the kegorator underneath. Then extend the tower on top of the bar. Insulate the gap between the tower and the hose going into the kegorator box or have a cut out around the tower and the overflow drain.
Brands I buy are be bev-air or true.
Another option is to buy a commercial double under the counter fridge unit. This will allow more kegs and you can add more taps to your tower.

I will do something like this when we build in a couple of years. Right now, I don’t have the room for all of that.

GOD fORBID You walk a few steps inside the house to grab a beer. Millineal attitude is out of control.

I get that you are trying to be a dick, but this makes no sense.

Your best bet is to build your own using a chest freezer or fridge. I've had two outdoor kegerators - one was a chest freezer (eventually died) and one is an upright fridge. The summer heat is killer on the compressors, so don't waste your money on a fancy kegerator. Buy the hardware to convert a fridge/freezer so that when, not if, it dies, you can move the hardware over to the new unit.
If you have a habitat restore in your area, they always have really good deals on fridges. CL and Facebook marketplace are also good places to look.
