Thats enough just sustain most mom and pop restaurants in town and they are spending that much on just advertising alone through one outlet. Their recent billboard campaign is a bit ridiculous. Who the frick cares who Adam working at Lee drive is

That can't be right. 225 doesn't reach nearly enough customers to be worth $45K a month.

I agree. Even if you included The Business Report and InRegister (and whatever other publications they might have), I can't see getting to that number. What does a full page, back cover cost? $2500 a month...and that would only be $7500 for all three.

In the category "Best Restaurant Worth the Drive," Houmas House is listed as 3rd. Houmas House isnt even a restaurant... its a plantation and gardens. They DO have 2 restaurants in Latil's Landing(fine dining) and Cafe' Burnside (more casual). But they dont advertise with 225 so I guess it wasn't worth explaining.
IMO, Latil's Landing is one of the best restaurants in the south.
FWIW, Houma's House won the #1 tourist attraction (Big Louie Award) in the state of Louisiana by the La. Tourist Commission... but you wont hear 225 mention that.

It's a farse. Whoevers adds you see the most of wins. I've seen the ratings every year and they are comical usually.
