This is one of the worst margarita recipes I’ve ever read.
A nice Tommy’s marg is exquisite.
2/1/.5
Tequila / Fresh Lime / Agave
No need for much else

Good lord. Agave?
Did you get that recipe from Meghan Markle?
I bet you mix Anejo tequila in that abomination.

Yeah I have bottle of Agalima in my fridge right now. I have never found one pre mix worth a crap but bought this the other day and it’s terrific. I mix 2oz of tequila and approx 1.5 oz of the mix but you Will figure out your favorite ratio. A bit pricey at $14 but really good.

Recently stopped buying the store bought mixes and switched to the recipe below... It's easy and tastes similar but it's cleaner. I find it's also more cost effective and you don't waste a whole bottle making a couple of drinks.
Simple Syrup (usually made with honey - 1-2 tablespoon per shot)
Lime Juice
Water
Tequila

Cutwater Cans are pretty solid, especially with a fresh lime squeeze and grand marnier float.
Sneak strong too.

Master of Mixes is my favorite brand. Good balance of flavors.

Just make a traditional margarita.
