Best Lunch Spot between NOLA and Oxford, MS

Heading up to Oxford, MS in the next few days. What are can't misses for lunch I need to hit for the drive there and back?

Keifers in Jackson is good

Handy Andy BBQ and Ajax in Oxford are my two favorite lunches in Oxford

Hal and Mal's on Pearl and Commerce Street

Dave's BBQ on High Street

Baptist Hospital area

Lou's Full-Serv on East Fortification Street

The Manship Wood Fired Kitchen at Manship and North State

Keiffer's at Poplar and North State Street


North Side Drive and I-55 Area

Fine and Dandy or Cantina Laredo at the District I-55 below North Side Drive

Char at I-55 and Northside Drive

Thai Time Thai Restaurant Old Square Road

Piccadilly Cafeteria I-55 frontage Road

Capitol Grill I-55 and Canton Mart Road


County Line Road area


Drago's Oyster at I-55 and County Line

Keifer's. If you are going to be in Jackson.
One of the better Greek Restaurants around.

I'd put there Gyro and hummus up there with Niko Niko's and Cafe Pita in Houston.

Nicer lunch?
Walkers for sure. Redfish Anna for the win

Hipster?
Keifers (Greek—have to order something with feta dressing), Babalu (tapas and tacos), saltine (seafood), pig & pint (bbq)

Sushi?
Sakura bana

Southern buffet?

Ta and Coater - not sure why I forgot Walker's. second Redfish Anna choice. Their burger is pretty good too.

I would add Local 463 in Renaissance. Sister restaurant to Walker's.

Also Edo's for great sushi and their "crack " ginger salad dressing
