Hey, I’m driving in for the Bama game and my wife loves kracklin. Where is the best place to stop on he way in from Atlanta. I’m getting in on Thursday to spend time with family but needed to get our fix in for the last part of the drive.

Ronnie’s in Hammind. Exit 42 on I-12.

Coming from Atlanta, you're going to want to stop at one of the Ronnie's Boudin locations. There's one in Hammond, LA off of I-12 and one in Baton Rouge on Florida Blvd.
They have great Cracklins and smoked boudin.
Bergeron's in Port Allen will be slightly out of your way (Port Allen is just over the I-10 Bridge from Baton Rouge), but their cracklins are solid too. They have a lot of great stuff in their deli, but their boudin is not nearly as good as Ronnie's. Their chicken cracklin is amazeballs
If you want to try Hogs Head Cheese while you're here (and trust me, you do), it may be worth the detour up to Central to Jerry Lee's).

Agree with Ronnie's for boudin. Regular and smoked, it's the best in the area.

Don't stop for boudin/cracklin until you pass over the BR Mississippi River bridge

Normally I would agree, but unless you're headed all the way to Lafayette (or at least Breaux Bridge) there's no way I would cross the bridge knowing I had to turn around and cross back over it this weekend.
As others have said, Ronnie's is where you need to stop.

This. Crossing that bridge is a nightmare. There are times when it is less burdensome to drive from LSU down to the Bergeron's in Gonzales than it is to cross the river to the Bergeron's in Port Allen.

I already stopped on the west side of the bridge in Scott when I flew into Alexandria and have boudin frozen from the best stop at my uncles. Also stopped at Kratchners and got some jalapeño cream cheese boudin balls, or angel balls as I like to call them since they were sent from the heavens.
My goal is to stop on the way in and get my wife her fix. I’m not a huge fan of Ronnie’s boudin. It is kind of flavor less. Thanks for the kracklin tips though.

Chicken Cracklins at Bergerons for the win! For pork, a new place in braux bridge has the best.

Driving privileges of all kracklins have been revoked in every southern state. I'm afraid you'll have to settle for some grounded kracklins. I'm not aware of any quality kracklins in the ATL area. Perhaps someone on the food board still living in the BR area can give you a recommendation in that area.

Agree. The smoked is good. I rarely get the regular.
