Anyone who disagrees just hasn't tasted a Randazzo's king cake.

Randazzos is terribly overated. Got several last year for the Super Bowl to see which would get eaten first at the party. Randazzos got killed by McKenzies.

I really could care less if you disagree with me.

I haven't had one from this place in years, but when I worked on the "wank" I used to get mine from a donut/coffee place called "Coffee &..." (Coffee And...).

Those were the best king cakes I've ever had.

EDIT: And this is from a guy who grew up on Randazzo's king cakes from the ORIGINAL Chalmette location...

Old school or the one with the icing? The one with the icing is my all-time favorite. I think the regular one is too dry.

I would say Randazzo's first with the old McKenzie's round ones with the icing second. Can you get those anywhere now? Tastee's only sells the old fashioned oval ones.

McKenzies is quite possibly the worst king cake I've ever had.

Manny Randazzo and it isn't even a competition. That's why he only has to work a couple weeks out of the year and there is always a line a mile long anytime he is open

Randazzo's needs to pay TD a royalty fee, as many times as they get mentioned on here close to parade season.

McKenzies had the best king cakes (ones with the icing) back in the day before they got shut down. I don't trust anything being sold as "Original McKenzies King Cake" today. Randazzos is the only thing that comes close to the old McKenzie's
