My wife made this King Cake Bubble Up recipe today and it's pretty close to a store bought king cake. I liked it

This is one from Southern Living that I've used for years. I only have a scanned copy of it. Re-scanned as jpeg and uploaded to Flickr. Here's the link, I don't know how to do an inline picture.

I've never made one, but I suspect if you go to Louisiana Cookin' website, there may be a few there. Try Louisiana Kitchen also.
