I think we use a little less velvetta and a more broth. But you can do what you want to make it thinner/thicker.

Not sure about the easiest. I mean, most of the crock pot recipes posted are just as easy. But yeah, it sounds like a great option.

Can slightly tame the sugary sweet taste subbing some good (not the cheap standard boxed version) raisins or even dried figs/dates. The pectin in the dried fruit will cook out to retain the consistency of the jelly pectin.

That's what I made Saturday, served with celery sticks and water crackers. It reheats well and good with tortilla chips
