La Goulou in Aigues- Mortes, France. Memorable dishes include Mussels in a Saffron Cream in puff pastry, Filet with a Morel Cream Sauce, Octopus Tempura, and Egg Parfait.
The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was beautiful, relaxed, and without pretense. The owner was so fun and attentive. Went back multiple times over multiple visits.

My wife and I went to one of the last remaining Panchos last month in Houston. It was ok (sopapilas were great ) so long guess my tastes have changed over the years from my college days at LSU
