Looks like 16 seed Pipeworks is leading 1 seed Bell's right now. Can they hang on for the upset?
6 seed LaCumbre is trailing 11 seed Good People. I've only been able to enjoy LaCumbre, but have read many good things about GP on this board. Looks like that was a tough opponent to draw in the opening round.

I can't see the bracket (thrillist is blocked by the internet work filter nazis) but all that tells me is that the people doing the seeding know beer better than the people doing the voting.

They have Bell's as a 1 seed as well. Not a huge problem, but that seems sort of out of place.

Yeah, some of the seedings were odd. Bells a 1, but Brooklyn a 13? Southern Tier and Boulevard are both 14? Victory a 15?

Sweetwater, Terrapin, Creature Comforts, 3 Taverns and Monday Night aren't in but Southbound is? Georgia and NC are the best beer states in the South by a large margin and their top breweries are absent.
