Staying near the convention center and don’t want to travel to far. TIA

ETA: Within a 15 minute uber.

Go home, you're drunk. The bests aren't in city center, but right next to you in Reading Terminal Market. Spataro's steaks aren't bad. But honestly, just go to Dinics in the market and get a roast pork with sharp provo and broccoli rabe. One of the best sandwiches in philly. Ask for it wet if you want some juice in it.

Short uber or long walk to Jim's on South. I think it caught fire or something a few months ago so check and see if it's back open.

You'll also be close to Dinic's inside Reading Terminal Market so grab a roast pork there.

Best cheesesteak I've had in Philly was suprisingly at John's Roast Pork, but that's not by the convention center.

Staying by the convention center and refusing to walk will limit your options. Best bet would be going inside reading terminal, dinics for roast pork and then Carmen’s or Spataros for cheesesteak but neither would be on my list for best cheesesteaks in the city.

I would take an Uber to angelos, it’s the best in the city.

Give it a shot but I gave half my roccoli Rabe sandwich to a homeless woman.

Ishkabibbles on South Street has a good Cheese Steak.

i would take that over most of the "famous" steak places.

Asked all the locals when we went and got a different answer from all. Most said don't go to the two most famous one's right across the street from each other - Genos and Pat's.

Ultimately, we finally got a second person that recommended Jim's so that's where we went. We both found it decent but underwhelming.
