So much so you had to post twice. Besides, this was bumped from last year.

Judice Inn
My god this place is awful. I was taken there the first time I went to Lafayette to hang out with some friends that graduated a year before me. They bragged about these burgers like they were the greatest thing on earth... Needless to say I was disappointed. I'd rather a burger from Wendy's right up the street than waste a couple dollars on that garbage, at least at Wendy's I can get some fries and a frosty.

Dude, Judice Inn sucks. The burgers are so small, you have to order two, and they come with chips, not fries. frick that noise.
Yeah, open for 65 years and packed everyday because it sucks.

Bonnie Bells has a tuesday special ribeye burger with caramelized onions on a fresh baked bun that is hands downs the best burger in Lafayette
Just realized this thread is from last year because Bonnie Bells is closed now... bums me out because I hadn't tried the burger there.
Had burgersmith tonight and it was pretty darn good.

I used to grab a Gary burger once a week and a the Friday lunch special of Crawfish Fettucine during my college years.
With that being said Judice Inn is still my go to burger joint when i'm back in Laffy.

One secret to make the Judice Inn burger good is to get a fried egg on it, except for Saturdays for some reason no eggs on Sat. lunches. Also Reds is good and Twins burger is my top 3 in Laffy.

quote:...not give a shite that they never clean the place. If you want to enjoy that burger, do not take notice at the peeling paint on the wall next to you, and certainly don't look up either because the ceiling just like the walls are splattered with age old sauce, grease, you name it (someone recently posted about a restaurant's ceiling and I immediately thought of Judice as one of the worst I've ever seen), and under absolutely NO CIRCUMSTANCE should you take a trip to their outhouse.
One secret to make the Judice Inn burger good is to...
Here's a pic of the two burgers I've had there...my first and last:
If that pic made you the least bit hungry, you probably haven't eaten yet today. I can see why people would find charm in an historical joint that puts out old fashioned burgers, but it's hardly one to write home about.

Morvant's was terrible. Went with three people and the only order they got right was a chicken tender basket. They left off the cheese and bacon. When my buddy went to get his cheese they just threw a cold slice on his burger. Is Bonnie Bells still doing the Tuesday special?
