Morvants in Youngsville? I've never had a bad burger there. You guys gotta try Who Daq's. BTW, Field of Dreams is the worst.

Correct. Owner/chef of Bonnie Bells has paired up with Maurizio (the old Italian food market) to open an Italian joint. I loved BB's so I can't wait to see what the partnership brings.

Where did you hear this? This might be the greatest news that I have heard in a while. Two of my favorite places to eat in Lafayette. I was very depressed when Maurizio closed his place. This union being across the street from Carpe Diem might make that corner the new center of my universe.

Fortunatley/Unfortunatley I know entirely too many people in Lafayette.

I wish I could divulge more, but as always anonymity rules here. The info is credible and comes directly from the people making it happen. I will say this, you and I are equally excited about it! Pamplona's, Carpe Diam, and now this woul make quite the triangle.

Maurizio, Bonnie's husband, and another partner did a soft opening of Pane & Vino tonight. Stopped in to talk to Maurizio on the way to Carpe Diem tonight. Very exciting.

1. Fat Pat's
2. Aussie Burger from Cafe Kimball in Broussard
3. Max's Pool Hall

Haven't had a Southside burger since it became Twin's, but I heard they're great.

I've been meaning to get over to the French Press to get the Couillion Burger. Everyone says its the best in town.

Justice Inn is frickin overrated as shite
