If you're talking IN Lafayette, Earl's has to be mentioned. For a short drive, yeah, there's the trio near I-10, but I love Billeaud's boudin in Broussard as well.

20 years ago Poche's was hands down the best. When they started selling commercial to grocers the quality went down. But man was Poche's boudin something else ! Being from Lafayette, and haven eaten all of them from Mamou to Eunice to Scott, Floyd had the best of them all at one time.
