I thought they were only kegging according to their website.

There is a bottling line at the new brewery... and stacks of broken down cases, labels, and 6-pack holders. It might not be operational yet.

Chimay Blue is probably the finest brew I've ever had. It's perfect for relaxing and sipping.

Their focus right now will be getting Canebrake in kegs to the NOLA and BR markets everywhere that wants it. Then they'll start bottling. So, I don't look for bottles until the fall if I had to guess.

This is a tough task. Right off the top of my head, regular, non-seasonal or special release, I'd say in no particular order:

Rochefort 10
St. Bernardus Abt 12
Unibroue La Fin du Monde
North Coast Old Rasputin
Bear Republic Racer 5

But I could just as easily come up with another 5.

if you bring your own growler, apparently. I called several places when I had family passing through there and they said they could fill one if they had one with them, which they did not, naturally
green room had growlers last time i was there

Thats 6. Deal with it.

Can't think of five so will go with three:

1) The one I'm drinking right now

2) The one I just had

3) The next one I'll have

OH, you were still sticking with the Only bought in LA thing. I got you.

Hard to keep up with what threads are doing what today.

Where is the best place to try some of these beers? Are most exclusively on tap at places?

Calandro's or The Cove in Baton Rouge... Stein's or Avenue Pub in New Orleans.

Most listed, but not all, are available in bottles.
