Best Alligator Sausage

Last night a friend of mine grilled what he called alligator bratwurst with peppers and onions. It did not taste anything like bratwurst to me, but was delicious.
Said friend has some restaurant connections and told me that he got the sausage from Sysco. I don't have restaurant connections but definitely want to eat something similar in the future.
Whatcha got folks? Where can I buy the best alligator sausage or boudin?

you most likely ate Crescent city alligator and pork sausage. use it on occasion and it is delicious. You can order it off Amazon among other purveyors.

drive to bourque's Grocery in port barre they have amazing exotic sausages. Buffulo, alligator, venison. Had some aligator last weekend with friends in Texas they where beyone impressed. you can order it from thier webiste also. order you some sausage bread while your at it.

This is one I’ve used before. Sauté with onions and bell peppers and put on a po boy or serve over rice. It was delicious.
