I've been going to this place since the early 70's and had been passing it up for some reason the last couple of years. We used to stop for burgers or at the least a shake or ice cream.
I stopped this afternoon and had a cheeseburger and a chocolate shake and I can say it is a damn good burger. I've never had anything else but I suggest if going up 61 a stop for at least a shake. Actually mine was a malt.
Try it.

We have a sister store in Natchez and all of their guys RAVE about Shake Shack. Need to try it out. They also love the burgers at Magnolia Grill

There is another shake shop downtown-not sure the name but two sister own them both and one lives in New Roads and makes that drive twice a day. Good stuff I promise.

On Highway 61 on the right just coming into Natchez from the south. Very small place next to the package liquor store. About across the street from that lumber yard. Might be a Steins.

That could be The Malt Shop.

Thanks. Will try it. Consider the tamales at the Donut Shop while in town. You'll go back for more later.

Those donuts are pretty awesome too! Never tried the tamales though.
