i picked up a pulled pork sammich and mac and cheese when it first opened. not bad
In mid December I decided to call in a to go order and went inside. Place is weirdly laid out. Looks like tables are set up in a bedroom. One of the workers, possible a cook comes walking through the hallway in his socks like he was in a backroom taking a nap.
Food was terrible

I looked at yelp and the few pics they had it looks like the food has changed from last year when they opened. Tater salad and chicken look very different.
I have no clue about the restaurant business, but I feel like specifically a smokehouse/bbq place if you are not selling out almost every day you are gonna fail faster than a traditional restaurant because most of your items aren't cooked to order. Either that or you serve leftover crappy meats....

No I didn't, it was a to go order. TBH didn't know how bad it was until I got back to the office.
I'm really just floored at the brisket, to me it says a lot. Most of what was wrong with the food is correctable, but how to slice brisket is BBQ 101. If you cant do that correctly, you got no chance of fixing the other stuff.
Calling yourself a smokehouse and using cheap store bought sausage, is laughable!

The only thing that is the same now is the drink container LOL! The bread yesterday was regular white bread, triangle cut toasted on one side.
